On October 24th, 2011, Lake Lanier was only nine feet from the historic low level of the drought of 2007. With the continued dry weather pattern, the lake is dropping more than a foot each week. The time to conserve water is NOW.
Fairway understands that water is Georgia's most precious resource. We use less than 14 gallons for each car washed, compared to the 150 gallons the average person uses to clean their own vehicle at home. As a result, we can wash each vehicle for pennies worth of water compared to MORE THAN $1 for the average home driveway car washer.
We are providing an incentive for EVERYONE to save water by making it LESS EXPENSIVE to save water than to waste water. Therefore, we are announcing the $1 Water-Saver special: For only $1, Fairway Carwash is offering an Express Exterior Wash during special time periods.
The $1 wash times will be posted several days in advance on our website, at facebook.com/fairwaycarwash and will also will be tweeted via www.twitter.com/duluthcarwash. The majority of times will be limited to two hour intervals. The $1 wash intervals will change in order to fit as many people's schedules as possible, including some weekend times. Please sign up to receive notices*. Or, if you pass by:
TO CALL ATTENTION TO LAKE LANIER AND OUR $1 WATER-SAVER WASH OFFER, WE ARE PLACING A SAIL BOAT IN OUR FRONT YARD, AND WILL BE RAISING THE MESSAGE ABOUT SAVING WATER DURING EACH OF OUR $1 PROMOTIONAL PERIODS.
